Back in September 2010, Google launched the first Street View imagery of the Antarctic, enabling users from more habitable lands to see penguins in Antarctica for the first time.
Now Google is bringing us additional panoramic imagery of historic Antarctic locations that we can view from the comfort of our homes. Googlre have added this special collection to its World Wonders site, where we can learn more about the history of South Pole exploration.
